We finally came up with a name for the augmented group that's been packing them in at Fred's for the past three years - we are proud to announce that Saint Frinatra debuts its 2005 Summer season with Friday nights at Fred's and performances at The Hip Pocket Theatre. HaZaa!
The B#3
The band had a very eventful year. We played the 2003 New Year's Eve and a number of private parties at Tim Love's new Lonesome Dove restaurant. This place throws down some serious groceries and comes highly recommended from the bandstand. Eric Zukoski and Frank Hailey (my bass and piano players, respectively) released a new CD Passing It Around with Bob Stewart on drums. In the summer of 2003 we augmented to six pieces and played every Friday night on the patio at Fred's to appreciative audiences. The six piece ensemble has just inked the deal to bring Jazz Under The Stars once again to Fred's every Friday night from 7 - 10 p.m. in 2004. I'm back from a New Year's Eve gig in England and a brief sojourn to Estonia and can't wait to get back out on Fred's Patio.
